Ian Wilson is professor and director of the Center for Language Research at the University of Aizu, Japan. He has a Ph.D. in Linguistics (Phonetics) from the University of British Columbia, an M.A. (TESL/TEFL) from the University of Birmingham, and a B.Math from the University of Waterloo. He has taught EFL in Japan for more than 20 years, and he is a coauthor of “Articulatory Phonetics” published by Wiley-Blackwell. He has been an IEEE member since 2015.
